ﺍﻟﻤﺼﻤﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﻐﺎﻟﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﻮﺣﻴﺪﺓ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﺴﺎﺣﺔ , ﻭ ﺍﻟﻤﺘﻤﻌﻦ ﻓﻲ ﺗﺼﺎﻣﻴﻤﻬﺎ ﻟﻦ ﻳﺼﺪﻕ ﺍﻧﻬﺎ ﺗﻤﺎﺭﺱ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻟﻤﻬﻨﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﻔﻄﺮﺓ ﻭﻛﻬﻮﺍﻳﺔ ﻭﻋﺸﻖ ﺩﺍﺧﻠﻲ , ﺗﺼﺎﻣﻴﻤﻬﺎ ﺩﺭﺍﻣﺎﺗﻴﻜﻴﺔﻭ ﺫﺍﺕ ﺑﻌﺪ ﻣﺴﺘﻘﺒﻠﻲ ﻣﻌﻠﻮﻣﺎﺕ ﻋﻨﻬﺎ :

ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﻓﺎﺯ ﺑﻬﺎ ﺑﺎﺑﺎ ﻣﺎﻝ ﻓﻲ ﻧﻔﺲ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻡ .
Oumou Sy
Oumou Sy is a world renowned
Senegalese designer. Although there
are many Senegalese fashion
designers out there, she is the only
one that I know. I look at her designs
and I can't believe she's self taught.
Her collections are very dramatic,
futuristic.
Here are some facts about her
* She was born in 1952 in Diatar,
Podor in the Futa Toro region, near the
Senegal River.
* Podor is also the birthplace of singer
Baaba Maal
* She's from the Fulani tribe
*Her mother is originally from
Casamance. Her father was a caliph of
the brotherhood Tidjane and he@ passed away when she was five.
*She is a 1998 laureate of the
international Prince Claus Awards.
Baaba Maal also won the award the same year .
